It’s hard to dream of a white Christmas living on a tropical island. This morning, thanks to the freezing classroom, I traveled down memory land of many Christmas pasts - glittery drops of prettiness falling from the sky, frosty snow covers the streets, family’s get-together, gift exchange, games, food, hot tea, candy canes, fireplace, mistletoe, pies, warm apple cider,… That’s my Christmas! What’s yours?
Dreaming of a candlelit winter wonderland wedding...
I’m sitting in a freezing class room in the middle of a 90 degree tropical island in the Caribbeans and I’m dreaming of a beautiful winter wedding. The snow are falling outside the window, but behind the frosted glass window, the room is glowing in ambient light of more than 288 lavender candles…
This picture better comes together given the fact that the order is placed :-)
I leave the rest to your imagination and i bet you my dream of a candlelit winter wonderland wedding will come true (like i said, the order is already placed) ;-)
You probably already know about this…I do feel left out about this idea. However, for those of you who did not know, Project 365 simply means you post 1 picture a day to your blog, FB acct, twitter or wherever you choose to post picture, something that u wanna remember about that day. For me, the challenge is to chose one out of the many events that happens during the court of the day to post. I’m sure there would be days where you want to post 2, or 10 pics but NOOOO, we all have to obey the rule and post only ONE! So yea, as simple as that, one pic per day and you’ll have 365 pics to look back to at the end of the year! or 366 on leap year :-)
Ok, this is the part where you call me crazy, a pain in your neck and totally ignore me or you can just join me in Project 365 and we will have something to look back together later. It’s up to you!
I know I’m pretty crazy adding more stuff onto my to-do list but it doesn’t feel a lot when it’s something I really wanna do. I know I will have fun doing things like this.
I wanna make get well cards and send them to Eric and Kate (http://jennifermcguireink.com/). These kids are very sick with rare genetic disease and cancer. They are fighting these horrible diseases everyday! I have wanted to send Kate my card a while back, when I first found out about her through Jennifer McGuire but sending anything from Antigua is such a pain and there is a small chance that anything you send will get to its destination at all. Last time I tried sending my family some postcards and they arrived 427287656 days later looking like a piece of trash.
Anyways, having a chance to come home, I’ll def. do this for them. I have the mailing address here if you would like to do the same. You can find out more about these card drives here: http://jennifermcguireink.com/

It’s always hard to start writing something…remember those papers in college? It was so hard to start writing them that I always ended up putting down my first sentence the night before the due date :-)
So, I finally bring myself to creating a blog. I have always wanted to create one but never got over my hesitance and even now, I still am not sure what I would make out of my blog.
If there is one thing I really love, it would be creating. I’m a huge DIY-er. I’m super proud of everything I made out of my 2 hands. Not everything I make is from scratch but they all end up having a little bit of me in them. I also love sharing. What fun does it make if I create something and can’t share it? I myself wander the internet all the time reading other people’s blogs and learn a great deal from what they share. I admire that a lot! So, here I am, combining my love of making and my desire of sharing. Let’s see where we’re going from here :-)
