our Unity candle
Toward the end of the preparation process, on top of having the cold, I was rather exhausted. The idea of making everything on my own for the wedding was starting to be a little faded. My Maid of honor and I was in Michael’s craft store 3 days before the wedding searching for a set of Unity candles (2 small ones and one big one in the middle). We saw many beautiful ones but something like...

Hey!
Hi everyone,
I miss tumblring everyday! :)
Well, just wanna pop back in and tell you a few things:
- My fiance and I had a wonderful celebration for our one year engagement anniversary. We went to this restaurant called Blue Ribbon. The food was really good here are the interesting parts: This restaurant was only a few blocks away from where we actually had our engagement party; We were eating,...

One year engagement...
Dec 15 last year was one of the most emotional/important/memorable day of our lives- We got engaged…on the Brooklyn Bridge! It was AMAZING!
Yea, yea, yea…the story was told a million times and it’s been a year but…to me, it’s something very personal and intimate so I decided to cherish it!
Without any planning, we happened to just submit our Marriage License...

Heroarts...
The tux hunt yesterday was rather…adventurous! it rained cats and dogs almost the whole day. We drove around in a car but still had to walk. It seems like we got something done but we still don’t know for sure until much later!
Yesterday, I talked about how my card making/scrap booking has to stop since I don’t have any supplies at home…Today, my Heroarts order arrived. My...

to my bride to be...
…not MY bride, you all know I’m getting married to a groom :-)
I made this card for a groom who will give this to his future wife on their wedding day! The request was: white, shiny and has the element of the bride in it…
Congrats you guys!!!
Sea foam blue is the wedding color so I definitely want to add it into the card, just so it doesn’t end up being monochromatic. Plus,...

Let it snow! Let it snow...Let it snow
…Let it snow!
I think it’s snowing back home! Just a few more days and I will be submerged into that freezing cold weather that I was never fond of :-)
Carry on with the holiday spirit, here is another Christmas card. Simple kraft cardstock with some pattern paper…just the new way of arranging them around.
Enjoy!

The golden leaf-I missed autumn in NY!
I realized that in a few day, when I come back to NY, it’s gonna be a slap in the face because I will be flying straight from Summer to Winter. Besides many things I missed this fall, I missed the beautiful autumn colors…
I guess that’s how this card was made! Doesn’t it look graceful?
The curve lines and the cutting & putting together of all the pattern papers were...

Another requested card! - Orange butterflies...
Hey everyone,
here is another requested card. The request was “orange colors and butterflies” :-) here come butterfly mommie and her babies…
Cardstock: Black cardstock from We are memory keepers ( I didn’t want to choose black at first but black just make the orange butterflies stand out)
Stamp: The butterfly stamp from the Anna Griffin’s Flora collection. The baby...

LOVE - a wedding card.
I’m breaking my “one card a day” rule again but I kind of have to because this card was requested and this is how I can show my work …:-) here it is!
This card will be given as a wedding card… The lace peaking out from the side is screaming “wedding” :-)
The card is open on both side as it has 2 panels on each side of the main body, so, it’s...

Merry Christmas!
So, I felt bad complaining about my Santa stamp the other day. Guess what? I decided to make him the most fabulous Santa this season :-D Here is he…
I did some paper piecing. If you compare this image of him to the previous card, you’ll see that his outfit is different because I use a pattern paper this time.
Then, I decided to make him 3D a little by adding some fluffiness to his...

Joy to the world!
I found a piece of stamp packaging chipboard in green with the nice shape. I wanted to make use of it and this is what came out :-) I cut a piece of red pattern paper from Basic Grey’s Indian Summer collection in the same shape. The red color of the pattern paper add to the whole Christmas theme but also very non traditional. The card itself is from a piece of cream cardstock with some...

Santa
If you followed me on Twitter, you’ve already knew how I complained about this one and only Christmas related stamp I have in the shape of Santa. I can only stamp it using red ink, I can’t really do paper piecing without having to do a lot of work :-) but after all, it costs me 1 buck, so…here is one use for it :-) oh, and I hope you like the card too!
Red cardstock from We...
