The time that it takes to make...

Jewelry making: How to make Polymer clay flower...
I have one more project with these flowers…for now :) I still have some left to make more stuff with. Check out my earrings and rings that I made together with this bracelet. Let’s see…how so I explain to you? I took some wire, double it up, and made a circle by wrapping it around a bottle. Then, bended it back and ford to make some loops. These loops will act like a surface...

Hello friends,  Happy Monday to you! I saved some scrap materials from this T- shirt reconstruction inspired by Prada SS2011 striped dress sewing project (yup, that’s me, can’t really throw away anything…yet) and I saw this project right here so i gave it a try. What I did was, I took the scraps and forcefully sew them together to create a bigger piece of “fabric”,...

ziebracake asked: Next year I'm going to college for for the first time! yikes! I am also looking forward to going to medical school after that. For a while I have been torn between taking a more creative route with my education and venturing in to the arts... BUT your page has made me realize that I won't have to give up all that creativity to become a doctor. So biomedical sciences degree here I come....

I really don’t intend to have this fea market fever every week but it’s so pretty outside today (first time this season I think) and I needed a walk. Saw these 3 things and felt like I have to have them! They’re cheap and pretty, how could I resist? This chest…is so pretty and it’s in perfect condition too!  This tea cup…I don’t know why…I...

DIY Milk Money Wallet _ recycle milk cartons
Saw this project and wanted to finish my milk carton real quick :) They have step by step instruction and even a video. So I stole the template, printed it out… cut and taped both sides together, then got to work 15 mins later… I know it says 1 hour but the whole project really doesn’t take that long. Now, just a few thoughts: - The milk carton is not easy to...

UPDATE on DIY Nail art: Newspapers text on nails
You guys,  It’s so much better the second time around! Duh! You can see here that the text is so much more crisp, and no ghost image :) (If you missed the original post with the tutorial, here it is) What i did differently were:  - Pressed a little harder to help the ink transfer better (it’s just like stamping)  - Not moving the paper around (like I mentioned) - Not try to...

DIY Nail art: Newspapers text on nails
Step 1: Apply base coat to protect your nails Step 2: Paint your nail with one of the neutral colors that would act as paper, for a more vintage look, use colors with more brown tone in it. I used 2 coats. Step 3: Let your nails dry completely. Step 4: cut out some newspapers rectangles larger than your nails. If you want the text to be straight on your nails, make sure that at least the...

I know that many of you probably have already seen people doing this magic thing where they turn a T-shirt into an awesome necklace…I personally haven’t done this project and I wanna :-) I also want to add my own twist into it and I’m taking you along as I make my necklace: I use this red T-shirt, which is left over from this project (where I turned 3 T-shirts into a Prada...

Flea market fun
Happy Friday to you my lovelies! There is a small flea market right across the street from our building. It’s small, more like a church sale, and it’s only open on Thursdays and Fridays - only if the weather is nice. It’s freezing still but it was open today and I really really needed a little walk. It’s a shame to call this a walk because all I did was to cross the...
