Happy Lunar New Year to you my friends! Wishing you a wonderful Dragon year.
“chúc mừng năm mới” as Vietnamese people would say :)
I’m curious to know how many of my readers are celebrating??? hmmm

This is the manicure I’m sporting :-) Red and gold are the key colors here. Simple but festive in my opinion.

I’ll post a more detailed post on this if you’re interested!
OK, I’m off to ăn Tết. Dragon loves you :-)
:) Thank you!
I got my ELF nail polishes from their online store. Most of them are great, there’re also a few that I wouldn’t re-purchase. This particular one is called Innocent and I love it!
Yes, I used the nail stickers (I think they’re called “french manicure tip guides”). I got mine from Walgreens. I re-use them to death. I actually like them much better as they get less sticky :)
Hope this helps!
Hey guys,
Maybe I’m a little late on the fringe crush but the thing is…I saw so many inspirations for such a long time and wanted to make them all. Look at these:

Back in April, I saw this post from Love Maegan. I even quote her as the title of this post :-).

I got this awesome tassel trim here. I got 5 yards but after the project, I still have about a yard and a half left.

I just took off my curtains, pin the trim on…

Run them through my sewing machine using red thread on top and black on the bottom to match

Tada…:-)
One fringe related project down but there will be a bunch more to go.
Hello Friends,
I hope your 2012 has been great so far.
Since the beginning of December, I already started taking advantage of the holiday season to wear glittery nails.
Here, I’m gonna share a few with you…

Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color in Grey Area (2 layers)
Wet n Wild Shine Nail color in Kaleidoscope (1 layer all over)
Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color in Invisible for top coat

Wet n Wild Shine Nail color in Sparked (3 layers)
Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color in Invisible for top coat

Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color in Red Carpet (2 layers)
Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color in Invisible for top coat

And for New Year Eve, I turned to Love Meagan for inspiration. Almost the same as the first pic but instead of putting the glitter layer all over, I only placed 1 line elegantly right down the side of the nails. I even changed my phone case to match.

This poor quality phone picture is for you to see my NYE manicure in action. Yes it was a baby corn snake in my hands. And if you haven’t noticed, that shiny sparkly purple thing on my lap is the next DIY project i will share soon :)
Just today, I spotted this set of nail polish at my local CVS. I know all about the cheap nail polishes that end up making my nail brittle and discoloring them into this awful yellow color but I’m also a sucker for new products with great price. So I got a set. Here is how the set look:

and here are the individual bottles:

I have seen these a few months back. They had a set of 10 bottles for $9.99. This set was $4.99 for 5 colors.
I can’t tell you anything about them yet, besides from the fact that I love the colors. I will wear them and let you know, so watch out.
Dear friends,
2011 would not be the same if it wasn’t for you!
Wishing you a wonderful new year!
