Nail art using jump rings (jewelry making supplies)

Have you ever used a non-nail art supply for nail art? :) I’m using some jewelry making supplies for this manicure. If you’d like to check out the video tutorial, click here

By the way, I just started a vlog channel on YouTube. Check it out if you’d like and it’d make my day if you subscribe! Thanks!

Mint, gold and fuchsia!

Going back to that time when I came up with this mint and fuchsia combination and thought it was so beautiful. I even had a video tutorial if you’d like to see. I “accidentally” came up this this design recently and it has those 2 gorgeous colors together. I did not have the look all planned out, but i love the way it turned out! Hope you’ll like it too!

Polishes used:

  1. Sally Hansen’s Golden-I
  2. Self sticking Ring Reinforcements
  3. Essie’s Mint Candy Apple
  4. Fuchsia Striper (no name, sorry!) Similar here!
  5. Seche Vite top coat

On with the border nail trend :-)

Polishes used:

  1. Base coat:Sally Hansen Triple Strong Nail Fortifier
  2. Three coat of Essie in ‘East Hampton Cottage’. Yes, it took 3 coats to become opaque, but my nails look like pearls :)
  3. Then on with the fun of making a thin border around my nails with a gold glitter striper. then again with a super thin black gel pen
  4. Top coat: Seche Vite dry fast top coat

I’m still not a fan with this trend. I have seen many pictures of the design with the dark borders and the nails just look dirty. In the perfect world, each nail on my hand would be perfectly shaped and the borders would accentuate that but I’m human so..no :-)

I might try it again using other compliment colors instead of contrasting colors. What do you think? Do you like this trend? Have you tried it?
